Participate on various project and initiatives, working in fast paced team setting with Managers, Architects, Technical Analysts and Technical Writers. Also, assist Managers and Writers with their tasks if/when needed Brainstorm, conceptualize and document business and technology frameworks and models (current and future architecture state; sequence plans for bridging the gap, etc) Work with clients' to understand, gather and document requirements, develop functional design documents and obtain sign offs and coordinate user acceptance tests Co-ordination/facilitation of user sessions and group meetings, with clear agendas, minutes and follow up Perform gap analysis, build business flows and build business cases for resulting solutions Document roles and responsibilities of related teams through RACI diagrams Bring expertise and know-how to other teams, while on assignments Solve operational problems and identify improvements by leveraging and simplifying processes and minimizing touch-points and documenting them Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to other team members Work with Project Managers to facilitate project deliverables and liaise with technical and business staff on the development and actualization of the requirements.

Minimum 7 years experience in Information Technology Business Analysis, at the specified level of proficiency Knowledge of emerging IT trends and technologies Excellent analytical, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills Experience in one or more of the following areas: * Development of Internet/Intranet business strategies * Business process re-engineering * Business case development and cost-benefit analysis * Feasibility studies * JAD facilitation Experience in structured methodologies for the identification of users requirements and the development of specifications Experience in the use of case tools to document conceptual requirements and scope Ability to understand best practice Architectural IT and Business frameworks Demonstrated success working with external clients to understand and gather requirements and working with project teams to meet expectations Demonstrated ability to work with limited direction, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic team environment Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new ideas and solutions, and communicate effectively with colleagues and end users Worked as a team player with a track record for meeting strict deadlines Strong team leadership and presentation skills complimented by a successful track record in building credibility and creating consensus Experience in the Healthcare sector / applications is a definite asset Experience with Enterprise Architecture is a definite asset Experience in the use of information retrieval packages an asset
